Join a Committee

 

To be the definitive voice of the commercial real estate industry in Alberta's Capital Region takes the support of many. Get involved with a NAIOP Edmonton committee and help continue to grow and develop the association. We are looking for individuals that want to roll up their sleeves and help NAIOP Edmonton continue to move forward in our goals of advocacy, education and networking and business opportunities.

 

Below you will find our current committees and chairs, as well as a short description of each committee's area of responsibility. You can find out more about any committee by contacting the chair directly or by contacting us. To join a committee, complete a committee application form and return to the committee chair you are interested in joining.

Advocacy

Stewart Fraser (Cantiro)

Oversees and coordinates the development initiatives committee activities and related programs in order to execute the public policy, lobbying, and government affairs objectives of the organization. 

Sponsorship and Membership

Dave Young (CBRE)

Develops, implements, and manages a membership and sponsorship program that appeals to the industry and suits the objectives of the organization. Ensure existing members remain committed, follow up with prospective members and develop campaigns to attract new members. 

Engagement

Nandini Ramachandran

Create, oversee and manage monthly luncheons featuring topics of interest to the industry.

Special Events

Separate committees create, oversee and manage NAIOP's special Events including:

  • The Battle of the Prairies Case Study competition 

  • Hockey at Rogers Place

  • NAIOP Invitational

  • Tour de NAIOP

 

Developing Leaders

Alex Shaw (AIMCo)

 

Create, oversee and manage all matters relating to the program offered to members 35 years and younger. 

 

Education

Bronwyn Scrivens (Omada Commercial)

Manages several in person courses offered by local industry experts.

Coordinate post secondary relations including the Battle of Alberta Real Estate Case Study Competition .
